This week has been great! This whole month has gone by SOOO fast! I can't believe that in two days it's October. I still write July on all my papers haha.. What is happening with time??
We had cambios yesterday, but no one changed! Well, at least in my ward. I am happy! There is still much so more that i feel i can do here and we all get a long so well. The only change in my district was that one Hermana left and Hermana Jimenez is now here! Yay! i am super excited to see her now! :)
to answer your question, Humberto is Jorge Diaz´s dad. He was baptized last Saturday. We had another baptism this week too! The Elders taught her. Her husband was baptized a few weeks ago, but no one knew why she wasn´t. It turns out she was super scared of water. When she was a little girl her brother pushed her into a river, she almost died. Even when it rains she gets super anxious and all the feelings come back from that moment. That is why she never wanted to come to church. Heavenly Father blessed her so much. When she got in the water to be baptized she felt this overwhelming calmness. It was so special. She is so happy!
We are teaching a sister right now who is hilarious. She is super fun. Her name is Silvia. the first time she read the book of Mormon she pretty much got mad at us because she didn't understand anything. Why would you make me read something if i don't understand?? she said. A few weeks later she told us that she had a lot of questions and prayed really hard to know what she needs to do. She opened right up to 2 Nephi where it talked all about baptism. She said that she knows she needs to be baptized lo mas pronto possible! Now she loves reading. Pray for her. :) She needs help going to church. That is her weakness. She obviously cant be baptized unless she comes to church. She is great :)
That was super fun hearing from the Savage family! Thanks for your great letters! haha i totally laughed when Brock told me that he only hooked Oreo! To answer your questions Druby, this is definitely the best trip i have ever taken! :) I don't shower with a bucket anymore. We have a hose that is connected to a patio, it enters through the window and we shower with that. It is water from the street. It is really warm. That is why it is called Aguascalientes. cool huh? Oh i cant pick favorites! I love them all! When you serve a mission you will see that the people are so special. You will not be able to help but just love everyone!
Ah out of time! A picture is worth a thousand words! i will send you some! :)
love you all!!
