This week has been a good one for us too! We also celebrated! The papa of the family Diaz was baptized on Saturday. Remember Humberto? He was the one who was anti Mormon, now he is a member! His wife offered the opening prayer. It was very sweet. She poured out her soul and thanked Heavenly Father so much for this miracle. She said i never in my whole life would have imagined my husband in white. She was so happy! She cried the whole way though it. It was very sweet. :)
My brain just went blank... what else happened this week...?
Hermano Petronilo is getting ready to receive the priesthood. He is so cute. He said. Well preparenme hermanas! Tengo que saber mas! Then he said, what if someone asks me something that i don't know? How can i have such a powerful gift from God without learning more?? He is the cutest. The priesthood is not some light fluffy thing. It really is power from God. He says that it is such an honor to be able to receive it.
Jorge lost his job... Please pray hard for them! Luckily Nancy found work. She works from 10 in the morning to 11 at night. We haven´t even seen her at all. She says they don't pay well at all, but she is lucky to have something. God has a very special plan for them. Despite all of that, they are so happy and content to now be members. :) They are amazing.
I read another amazing talk! Amazing. It is called the Fourth Missionary. Wow. it changed me. I have so much that i need to do to be better. Seriously there is SO much more that we can always improve on. It is really interesting Ether 12:27. We have all read it. Our weaknesses can become strengths. That is cool. But something i never realized before is that we notice our weaknesses when we come closer to our Lord. When we feel that we are good, we are not where we should be spiritually. I am becoming more aware of this truth. We can be perfect in this life. Maybe not with all things, but in certain things. That is what we should always strive for. It is a blessing when God shows us what we need to do to be better. It is a lie if we feel that we cant. He trusts us to change, and we can. Today. It is as simple as telling him that we are ready and willing.
I had a feeling one morning to pray specifically to find a family. That same day we found Karina. She is super awesome! She has three boys. One of them doesn't live here, but the other two are super cute. They accepted the invitation to be baptized. We are super excited for them! I know that my prayers are always answered. We are going to work really hard with them. Another family to add to the prayer list :)
OK, this is such a short letter... my brain just cant remember what else happened....
