Oct 6: May we be a little better, a little kinder

This week has been super full of conferences! Wed conference with Pres Villarreal and all the leaders of the mission, Friday- zone conference and of course GENERAL CONFERENCE!

I LOOVED conference! Woa. So amazing. This year was so much better. I was able to watch it in English. What a blessing. There were twelve or fourteen of us, three sisters and the rest elders in this tiny little Bishop´s office all crowed together to watch it in English. I am not sure if it was the Spirit or the Elders,  but it got a little hot and stuffy in there. haha. But it was seriously so great. We all tried to stand and sing too, that didn´t work out to well, but i was so grateful to watch it in English. and Japanese, and español and portugués! wow! The first time in the history of the church! That was SO COOL! We ran over to the chapel to listen to the two of them when they spoke Spanish. We watched the other two with the voice over in English. I thought it was so funny that when they translated Chi Hong Wong´s they had to speak soo slow. Those asians have to work really hard to say two words in English. #grateful.that.i.am.learning.spanish

There is so much i want to write.. It is getting colder here. Typing takes the blood right out of my hands. they are super cold right now. It is taking a lot to write you this letter. haha burr!! 

ps its probably 65-68 degrees. Hermana D is STOKED for Christmas. I told her we need to calm down a little. Halloween still needs to come. haha She is so funny. She already wants to decorate the house. 

Ok, Conference. wow. so good. There were a lot of great themes this time! Dad it is so true, something great is coming. We need to hold SUPER firmly to our boat with BOTH HANDS! 

Saturday was super direct huh? All of us in the closet were like woa! Oh no way! Burn! haha super funny. I loved all of the talks. Jorg Klebglsiheril´s talk. We need to get really really good at repenting. And quickly. How true are his words! Spiritual confidence!

I really liked Lynn G Robbins, Which way do you face? We need to have more courage. Stick up for our prophets. 

Did you notice that almost every speaker spoke about the Atonement of Jesus Christ? And how we are not going to find support from the world. Just stop looking. super cool. 

I was going to kill the person who asked if the corn had been husked. Totally thought of the boatman.... uh awkard.. haha 

Dieter F Uchtdorf´s talk was amazing. He and Pres Eyring talked about personal revelation. light leads to light which leads to more light! if you seek, YOU WILL FIND. God knows things that we just dont know. 

Kindness is powerful!

Listening to the prophets in YOUR OWN VOICE will bring great strength.

What´s more important, prayers or fruit?

no prayer in the morning is no armor in the battlefield. We are in the most dangerous battlefield against satan.

help the poor, be like Jesus Christ. Not where he walked, As he walked. super powerful!

the Sacrament 1. repent 2. submit compeltely to His will. 

ok that got a little random.. after twelve pages of notes its hard to pick... There are so many great things! It was so inspiring. 

Repeting themes: Personal Revelation, and personal responsablilty, Sustain the prophets, The Atonement of Jesus Christ, the Sacrament. 

News from Mexico

We were with the Diaz family and i said to them, wow you are all super poderosos! Little Abirl said, I know sister, its because i work out. haha She is so cute. :)

Silvia came to the conference! Yay! Our prayers have been answered! She now tells everyone that she is Mormon. haha One of her friends said to her, No! You cant be mormon! Of all the chruches to pick from that is the worst. Pick a different one! She said to her, why? tell me one thing, ONE thing bad about the church and i will stop going. Her friend looked at her for a few minutes then said, well i dont know about the church... She said exactly. You dont know. 

She is so awesome! She has changed so much! It is incredible. We are just moving right along! :)

Hermana Jimenez is now in my district! It was so fun to see her again! 

Oh my gosh those pancakes looked so good. I litreally thought TODAY that i dont miss the food back home.  The food is so good here. Then you sent that picture... oh man!

Ryan is crazy. totally crazy.
